Public Notice - Short-Term Rentals

September 1, 2021 - Application of Ordinance 682, creating Article XLI of Chapter 475 in the Town of Pinedale’s Municipal Code regarding Short-Term Rental (STR) properties will begin October 1, 2021.

This ordinance was passed by Town Council in the Spring of 2021 and sets new regulations for the various zoning districts within Town limits.

As of October 1, 2021, the Town will begin to enforce this new ordinance, both identifying the properties that will be able to offer STRs, and to what extent, as well as implementing the inspection and permitting processes.

All existing STRs are being operated outside of current Town code, and do not have legal authorization to do so.

As these new measures are rolled-out, Town Staff will be working with an external contract agency to enforce the code.

Please become familiar with the zoning district in which STRs are available to operate in, and to what capacity. Any existing or future STRs that do not meet the criteria stipulated in Ordinance 682 will need to cease operations by September 30, 2021.
