MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS FOR AWD WHEEL TRACTOR
GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
This specification is intended to procure a current production all wheel drive wheel tractor for use with attachments as specified in the bid. These attachments shall be furnished with the tractor and included in the bid.
TRACTOR –
The tractor shall be rated at not less than 80 PTO horsepower. Manufacturer’s advertised weight shall be 9,200 lbs. minimum for tractor without counterweights or hydro-inflation. Transmission shall have not less than eight speeds with left hand column forward-reverse hydraulic shuttle and clutch shall be hydraulic wet disc type with automatic front axle engagement. Engine shall be equipped with a variable speed governor with both hand and foot throttle controls. Engine shall be protected to minus 30 degrees F. with permanent-type antifreeze.
Tractor shall be equipped with power steering. Front tires shall be R1Radial 12.4Rx24. Rear tires shall be R1Radial 18.4Rx30.
The tractor shall be equipped with a 540 RPM independent rear power take-off and live hydraulic system. The hydraulic pump capacity shall be adequate to handle all normal tractor attachments. The hydraulic system shall be minimum 17 gpm and 2,800 psi at the remotes. Tractor shall have a 3 spool hydraulic control valve with float in 2 positions. The tractor shall be equipped with an hour meter, electric starting and lighting equipment, key lock ignition switch, deluxe padded operator’s seat, seat belt, and all instruments and gauges normally listed as standard equipment and furnished with this type of machine. Tractor shall be equipped with a backup alarm, warning horn, 3 point hitch, draw bar and parking brake.
CAB –
Tractor shall be equipped with steel cab equipped with safety glass windows, ROPS, windshield wiper, sound insulation package, heater, air conditioning and AM/FM stereo.
PAINT –
The tractor, cab and all attachments shall be painted standard factory color.
SPECIAL PROVISIONS –
(A) The unit shall be delivered completely assembled, serviced and ready to operate including all attachments.
(B) Two parts and service manuals shall be furnished with the machine.
(C) Complete specifications of tractor and attachments shall be furnished with bid.
MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS FOR 15 FOOT ROTARY MOWER
The mower shall be a 15 ft. rotary mower equipped with:
Puncture proof tires. Outboard wheels shall be mounted behind the mower and inside the cutting path of the machine. Inboard wheels shall be dual wheels.
Hydraulic cylinders to raise wings independently with mechanical winch and cable mechanism for emergency use. Overall width with wings raised shall be less than 8 ft. Hydraulic height adjustment shall be furnished.
All openings covered with double row chain guard of 5/16 or equivalent chain to provide 14 strands per ft. and cable shall be installed through lowest link.
Unit shall have heavy duty steel dish pan blade carriers.
Mower’s wing hinges shall be greaseable.
Unit shall have swivel hitch and parking jack.
Main drive line shall be equipped with constant velocity type joint to be not less than ASAE Category 5 at 540 rpm. Drive lines to gear boxes shall be a minimum ASAE Category 5. Gear box shall have a minimum output shaft diameter of 2 3/8”.
Deck thickness shall be minimum 7 gauge. Side skirts shall be replaceable and ¼’ x 10.5 inches minimum with replaceable skid shoes. Deck shall be equipped with deck rings.
Safety shields on drive shafts and U joints to meet Federal Safety Standards.
Complete specifications and descriptive literature, including paint color, shall be submitted with the bid.
Mower shall be delivered completely assembled, serviced and ready to operate.
Two sets of parts and operators manuals shall be delivered with the machine.
MINIMUM SPECIFICATIONS FOR 5 FOOT ROTARY MOWER
The mower shall be a 5 ft. rotary mower equipped with:
Mower shall be equipped with two (2) puncture proof tires. Wheels shall be mounted behind the mower and inside the cutting path of the machine.
Hydraulic cylinder shall be used to raise mower. Hydraulic height adjustment shall be furnished.
Deck thickness shall be minimum of 7 gauge.
All openings covered with double row chain guard of 5/16 or equivalent chain to provide 14 strands per ft, cable shall be installed through lowest link.
Gear box shall have a minimum output shaft diameter of 2 3/8” and be set up for 540 RPM tractor. Gear box drive line shall be Category 5.

Mower shall attach to tractor with draw bar with swivel hitch.
Mower shall be painted manufacturer’s standard production color.
