UPDATE - South Tyler Avenue is scheduled to be open to traffic beginning April 15, 2022 at 6 p.m. The road closure will go back into effect on Monday, April 18, 2022 at 7 a.m. and will be closed every day from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Tuesday, April 26, 2022.
Starting Monday, April 11 at 7 a.m., a portion of South Tyler Avenue will be closed to thru traffic for construction beginning at B Street and ending at Fox Willow Drive. The road will be closed everyday from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. for approximately 10 days to two weeks.
Light trucks and cars should use South Madison Avenue and Stone Trail to Granite Lane, while heavy truck traffic should use County Road 23-190 (the industrial site road).
Temporary Pine Creek Diversion
Citizens may notice a small portion of Pine Creek conveying less water than usual along South Tyler Avenue. This portion of Pine Creek has been temporarily diverted to accommodate the construction of a retaining wall necessary for the new bike path along South Tyler Avenue.
The Town of Pinedale has coordinated with the Wyoming Game and Fish regarding the diversion with goals of minimizing impacts to fish within the portion of the channel being diverted. The diverted channel of Pine Creek will be restored as soon as possible. The other two branches of Pine Creek will remain fully active.
