No-dig Extension Order Lifted

Earlier this month, Town Staff made a recommendation to Mayor Murdock and Town Council to extend the winter no-dig period that normally runs November 1 through April 15, be extended through May 15, due to persistent frost conditions in the right-of-way.

As of Wednesday, April 26, 2023, the no-dig extension has been lifted and right-of-way/excavation permits may once again be issued.

Please visit with Planning and Zoning Administrator, Chad Mitchell, for ROW permits and Call Before You Dig 800-849-2476 or 811 for utility locates at least 48 hours before any excavation.
