The Town of Pinedale has an immediate opening for a full-time Janitor to clean the park restrooms, Town Hall, Town shop offices, and other areas as assigned to keep up clean, safe, and attractive facilities.
This position requires an individual with strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work. The cleaning schedule is negotiable; daily cleaning of some areas is desired. Travel in extreme weather conditions may occur. This position requires physical movements during each shift, including, but not limited to: walking, standing, lifting, crouching, and operating cleaning equipment. The work environment involves exposure to chemicals, unusual elements, potentially dangerous materials and situations that require extensive safety precautions and may include the use of personal protective equipment.
Candidates must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly, tolerate chemical smells, and be willing to travel between sites. The ability to follow established cleaning protocols and work without supervision is critical.
The compensation package includes excellent health benefits, paid vacation and sick leave, holiday pay and a contribution to the Wyoming Retirement Fund. Applicants must pass a pre-employment drug screening and all employees are subject to ongoing random drug testing.
