Freezing Temperatures

As temperatures drop below freezing, the Town of Pinedale strongly encourages residents to bleed water lines continuously during the winter to help prevent pipes from freezing.

Residential lines are allotted 20,000 gallons per month from November 15 through April 15, to allow for safely bleeding your water line. Running water through the pipes--even at a trickle--helps prevent them from freezing. A little prevention could potentially save you thousands of dollars in pipe thawing and home repair costs.

Please call Town Hall at 307-367-4136 if you have any questions or need information on how to protect your service lines.
