The Town of Pinedale Water Department will be flushing fire hydrants throughout the entire distribution system starting Tuesday, September 4th. Flushing hydrants allows Town staff to ensure that each hydrant is functioning properly. Flushing also helps maintain good water quality by removing any accumulated sediment in water lines and refreshing areas of low flow. If you notice any discolored water during or after flushing in your area, open the cold water faucets in your home for a few minutes until the discoloration clears up.
