PROCEDURE

• “Must Appear”

  • If “Must Appear” is noted on your citation, you are required to appear in court at the date and time indicated.

• “May forfeit bond in lieu of appearance”

  • If this is noted on your citation, you may either appear in court on the day and time indicated, or post the bond amount designated on the citation by that date. If you do not appear in court as scheduled, a warrant may be issued.

NON-RESIDENT VIOLATOR’S COMPACT (NRVC)

If your licensing state is a member of this compact and you fail to appear in court or post bond for your traffic citation, your driver’s license may be suspended until payment is made.

What if I can't be there for my court date?

​

Call 367-4136 and ask for the Municipal Court Judge and make a scheduling change. Court is scheduled the 2nd & 4th Tuesdays at 10 a.m.

What do I do if my license is suspended because I didn't pay a ticket?

​

Pay your ticket. If you want it done faster, overnight your payment to Pinedale Municipal Court, 205 Entertainment Lane, Pinedale, WY 82941. Upon receipt of payment, notice of compliance will be mailed to you and the licensing state. Note that some states also charge a license reinstatement fee, which is payable directly to the licensing agency.

Call 307-367-4136 and ask for the Municipal Court Judge to make different payment arrangements.

Can I pay my ticket with a credit card?

​

No, court payments can only be made with cash, check or money order.
